Towing ability of the car is defined for the movement at sea level height. If you are going to tow the trailer (trailer) in the mountain area, it must be kept in mind that engine capacity, therefore, towing ability of the car will go down.

       PREVENTIONS
The sum of the equipped mass of the car, mass of the driver, passengers, baggage, the towing equipment and load of the traction coupling device should not exceed the allowed full mass of the car more than on 100 kg. Excess of this value is dangerous. The allowed mass of the car is specified on the plate of the manufacturer (fig. 1.41) .
Load of a back axis should not exceed the most admissible more than for 15%. Excess of this value is dangerous. The allowed mass of the car is specified on the plate of the manufacturer (see fig. 1.41 ).
In case of excess of the allowed full mass of the car or the resolved load of a back axis, do not exceed the speed of 100 km/h or the value of speed allowed by local rules at towage (depending on what of these values is less).
Toyota recommends to establish only company towing arms and the traction coupling device.
