To reduce the maintenance of an oxide of nitrogen in the fulfilled gases, a part of gases goes system of recirculation of the fulfilled gases to an inlet collector therefore combustion temperature goes down.
The system of recirculation of the fulfilled gases consists of the EGR valve, the modulator, the switching vacuum valve (VSV) (it is located about a final collector) and vacuum hoses. The EGR valve is operated vacuum on the basis of signals from the control unit of the engine.
You make replacement of the EGR valve as follows:
– remove throttle knot;
– disconnect a vacuum hose from the EGR valve;

– disconnect a hose of system of recirculation of the fulfilled gases, turn out bolts and remove the EGR valve from an inlet collector (fig. 7.26) . If the EGR valve is littered, replace it, but do not wash out in solvent.
You make installation in the sequence, the return to removal.
You make replacement of the vacuum EGR modulator and filter as follows:
– mark and disconnect vacuum hoses from the vacuum EGR modulator. Remove the vacuum EGR modulator from an arm;

– if the modulator is repeatedly installed, uncover and check a condition of its filters (fig. 7.27) ;
– clear filters, blowing them compressed air. If filters cannot be cleared, replace them or the modulator.
You make installation in the sequence, the return to removal.
You make replacement of the vacuum valve (VSV) as follows:
– disconnect the electric socket from the VSV valve;
– mark and disconnect vacuum hoses from the VSV valve;
– remove the valve from an arm.
