The main EFI relay of electronic system of injection of fuel (EFI — Electronic Fuel Injection) gives tension to the fuel pump. The relay is operated on two electric chains. On the first chain control is exercised from the control unit of the engine (PCM), and on the second — from the ignition lock. If after inclusion of ignition start of the engine is not carried out, PCM will switch-off the relay of the fuel pump through 2 pages. Further, at start of the engine, after the first impulse from the sensor of position of the camshaft of the relay turns on the fuel pump.
Nozzles open on PCM signals individually in the sequence of an operating procedure of cylinders. PCM operates time of opening of nozzles (impulse duration) which defines amount of the fuel given to engine cylinders.
The switchboard on models from 1996 to 1998 will transform the operating PCM impulses to current impulses in primary winding of the coil of ignition. PCM uses signals from various sensors to calculate the required installation of an advancing of ignition and time of accumulation of energy in the ignition coil.
The valve of a control system of idling rotation frequency (IAC — Idle Air Control) operates amount of the air coming to engine cylinders at an idling rotation frequency.
The vacuum valve (VSV) of the control system of release of vapors of fuel (EVAP) – the electromagnetic valve the operated PCM for cleaning of the fuel coal filter and supply of vapors of fuel to an inlet collector for their burning. This valve is also called the adjusting valve of cleaning.
