You make removal of the fuel tank as follows.
Dump pressure in fuel system.
Remove a stopper from a jellied mouth of the fuel tank therefore pressure in the fuel tank will be leveled with atmospheric.
Switch off ignition and disconnect a wire of "weight" from the rechargeable battery.
If in the fuel tank there is a fuel, pump out it. You carry out pumping out of fuel by the special pump.
Lift the car on the elevator.
Remove back and central speak rapidly systems of production of the fulfilled gases.
On all-wheel drive cars remove the driveshaft.

Disconnect fuel pipelines, a tube of return of vapors of fuel and a jellied mouth (fig. 5.16) from the fuel tank . Close fuel pipelines plastic traffic jams that will exclude an effluence of fuel and pollution of fuel system.
Jack, through wooden whetstone support the fuel tank.

Turn out bolts of fastening of basic tapes of the fuel tank (fig. 5.17, 5.18) .
Lower the fuel tank so that it was possible to disconnect the electric socket from the block of the fuel pump / fuel level sensor.
Take the fuel tank from under the car.

       PREVENTION
Even in the empty fuel tank there are fuel vapors which are explosive therefore be careful.

Any repair of the fuel tank or jellied mouth has to be carried out by the expert who has experience of performance of critical and potentially dangerous works. Even after cleaning and washing of the fuel tank in it there are explosive vapors of fuel.
On cars of later releases the fuel tanks made of plastic which are not subject to repair are installed.
The removed fuel tank has to be located far from naked flame, scintillating devices, open fire-dangerous light devices and places of smoking.
You carry out installation of the fuel tank to the sequences, the return to removal.

Removal and installation of the case of the air filter you make as follows (fig. 5.19 and 5.20) :
Release spring clips and uncover also the filtering element of the air filter.
On models till 2001 disconnect the electric socket from the relay of control of the sliding placed sideways covers of the air filter.
On models since 2001 disconnect an air inlet branch pipe from a cover of the air filter.

Turn out 3 screws and remove the case of the air filter (fig. 5.21) .
You carry out installation of the case of the air filter to the sequences, the return to removal.
