       PREVENTIONS
Cars are equipped with security systems (SRS) including safety cushions and natyazhitel of seat belts. Before work about sensors of blow, the dashboard and a steering column disconnect at first negative, and then positive plugs from the rechargeable battery and wait 2 min. It will exclude unauthorized disclosure of safety cushions and operation of natyazhitel of seat belts which can cause injuries.
Do not allow hit of cooling liquid on clothes and a paint and varnish covering of a body. Otherwise wash out a surface a large amount of water.
Collect and utilize the merged cooling liquid.
The air conditioning system is under pressure therefore do not open air conditioning system contour, coolant is not pumped out yet.
You make replacement of a radiator of a heater when the engine completely cools down.

       NOTE
Replacement of a radiator of a heater on release cars since 2001 — very labor-consuming operation for independent performance as demands removal of the dashboard and the central console and is connected with separation of a large number of electric sockets.

Removal of a radiator of a heater
Removal on all models. If the car is equipped with the air conditioning system, pump out coolant from air conditioning system contour at service station.
Turn the handle of the management of air temperature given to interior of the car, to position of HOT (hot).
Merge cooling liquid.
Switch off ignition and disconnect a wire of "weight" from the rechargeable battery.

In a motor compartment weaken collars and disconnect hoses of supply of cooling liquid to a heater radiator from pipes on a partition of a motor compartment (fig. 4.24) .
Remove sealing rings from the tubes passing through a partition of a motor compartment to a heater radiator.
Disconnect air conditioning system pipelines from the evaporator and remove sealing rings. Close the ends of pipelines plastic traffic jams to exclude hit of moisture in them from air.

On release cars till 2001. Remove a ware box from the dashboard. Turn out screws and remove a casing of the evaporator (fig. 4.25) .
Disconnect from the heater block an air supply air duct to legs of back passengers.

Fig. 4.26. An arrangement of nuts of fastening of the block of a heater on release cars till 2001

Turn off 2 nuts and shift to the right the block of a heater (fig. 4.26) .
Turn out the bolts fixing the heater pipeline to the top part of the block of a heater, then release a clip and take a heater radiator.

The block of a heater and air conditioning systems on release cars since 2001: 1 – block of the air conditioning system; 2 – clips; 3 – hoses of supply of cooling liquid to a heater radiator; 4 – clips for connection of pipelines of a contour of conditioning to the evaporator (Quick Joint); 5 – sealing rings; 6 – consolidation; 7 – heater fan block; 8 – an air supply air duct to legs of back passengers

On release cars since 2001. Remove the dashboard and an intensifying beam. Disconnect electric sockets from the engine of the fan and the resistor of the fan and remove the block of the fan of a heater (fig. 4.27) .
Remove an air supply air duct to legs of back passengers.
Turn off 2 nuts and remove the block of the air conditioning system.
Release clips and remove the thermoresistor and a plait of wires from the block of the air conditioning system.

Turn out screws and remove a heater radiator from the block of the air conditioning system (fig. 4.29) .
Installation of a radiator of a heater
Installation on cars till 2001. You make installation in the sequence, the return to removal. Fill in cooling liquid.
Fill with coolant a contour of the air conditioning system.
Start the engine and check functioning of systems of heating and air conditioning.
Installation on cars since 2001. You make installation in the sequence, the return to removal, taking into account the following.

Fig. 4.30. Installation of the thermoresistor on an arm (1)

Check that the thermoresistor installed on an arm acts on 20 mm (fig. 4.30) .
Fill in cooling liquid.
Fill with coolant a contour of the air conditioning system.
Start the engine and check functioning of systems of heating and air conditioning.
